Reinforced elastomeric bearing

MSF Bearings are made of high quality synthetic rubber with a chloroprene rubber (CR) content of more than 60% with a 2 mm or 3 mm thick plate of weather resistant COR-TEN steel on top and below. This plate is vulcanised to the bearing to provide a force transmitting connection with a positive fit such as to ensure an improved transfer of transverse tensile forces.

These bearings which can take high dynamic loads, are water, oil, ozone and UV resistant as well as resistant against acids (SO2, NOx, HCl) and have excellent compression set values.

They can be supplied with different diameters and vertical stiffnesses ranging from 7 to 30 kN/mm and they are tested according to DIN 45673-7, " Mechanical vibration - Resilient elements used for railway tracks - part 7: Laboratory test procedures for resilient elements of mass-spring systems.
