USM® 4010

The side of the profiled USM® 4010 track mat facing the ballast or concrete slab has a fabric-reinforced rubber covering layer that is resistant to abrasion, oil, ozone and the weather. On the underside of the mat are lenticular spring elements, which are made of high-quality natural rubber mixtures. Their particularly good dynamic properties are very effective in isolating vibrations. In contrast to non-profiled foamed products, each stud deforms under load to ensure the mats provide efficient protection against structure-borne sound and vibrations without any limits to functionality, not only under the standard test loads in laboratory-controlled conditions, but also under the actual loads generated by rail traffic.

The USM® 4010 track mat has an overlapping strip, which is vulcanised in place to seal the joints. The use of high-quality rubber and rot-proof synthetic materials for the fabric means the track bed mat does not suffer any loss of functionality over the entire time it is in place


Mainly for track superstructure carrying full railway loading and trains operating at high speeds.
