1998 Nuremberg - Ingolstadt, NBS - Section Fischbach - Feucht

The high speed line Nuremberg-Ingolstadt-Munich is a double track high speed railway line for commuter and mainline passenger service. The line is subdivided into the new section Nuremberg-Ingolstadt and the upgraded section Ingolstadt-Munich.

Calenberg Ingenieure designs, manufactures and markets elastomeric sliding bearings, and statically or dynamically loaded structural bearings (elastomeric bearings) for buildings and structures, sub-ballast mats and trackbed mats for track construction as well as other elastomer-based products for noise insulation and environmental protection.

The line is part of the Transportation Project German Unity No. 8 from Berlin to Nuremburg via Halle/Leipzig and Erfurt. This line is also part of the priority axis No.1 (Berlin-Verona-Palermo) of the trans-European rail transportation network.

In the section from Fischbach to Feucht ballast mats USM® G-1015 were used to increase the elasticity of the track. USM® G-1015 was specifically designed for the application in high speed railway lines.
